As Ace Instructor Services individually assess your training needs and design a package to suit your requirements, you may use the costings below as a guide to the total cost of training to test standard by adding the elements together.
We also operate a "pay as you go" scheme, there is no requirement to deposit a sum prior to training, only when each session is completed per day, is a fee required.
You can therefore calculate the costs of your requirements before you reserve the training.
If you require, for example a Direct Access course to test, we recommend you first take the CBT course which is available on 125cc or 500cc (depending on previous experience). During the "On road" training, your instructor will monitor your progress and upon completion, inform you of the amount of training time required for your test.
This will have achieved your CBT pass and certificate, and will also allow you to decide the next step of your training without being tied to a specific course length.

Average Costing
CBT training day: £100
Two days Direct Access training on a 500cc: £240
Theory test: £30
Practical test: £60

That's a total of four days to obtain your license. For smaller machines the timeframe may
be shorter and the cost reduced accordingly.
Our experience has shown that our customers may wish to take the course of training over a longer period with some days between each session, training usually on weekends.
This method is encouraged and you may plan your own timetable and book your test on a day and at a time to suit your free time or work commitments.
